Analytics Portfolio Review
At its 9 September 2020 Meeting, the CAUL Board approved a proposal to establish the position of Director, Strategy & Analytics in recognition of a need to focus on a broader analytics service for CAUL, effectively establishing analytics as a portfolio of work including CAUL statistics. With the establishment of the broader Analytics Portfolio, there is a need to undertake a review of CAUL’s current statistics and analytics activities and to articulate a future direction for the Portfolio.
About the review
Two projects will take place from September 2021 to December 2022.
Project 1: Analytics Platform Development Project
This project will develop a modern analytics platform for CAUL and establish systems and processes for the CAUL National Office to assume responsibility for collecting and providing access to the CAUL statistics from 2022.
Project 2: Analytics Portfolio Review Project
This project will develop and articulate the aims, objectives, purpose and future directions for the CAUL Analytics Portfolio as a whole. The project will incorporate needs analysis, develop a governance model for the Analytics Portfolio, develop guidelines, and articulate a suite of analytics products that will be produced by CAUL on an ongoing basis.
The projects will be led by the Director, Strategy & Analytics, Dr Kate Davis.
Analytics Portfolio Review Working Group
The Analytics Portfolio Review Working Group will be established to provide advice and assist with undertaking the project work for the two projects.
The Working Group will be established in December 2021 and will work through until the end of 2022.
