July update- CAUL's Digital Dexterity Program

The first of three projects lunched under CAUL's Digital Dexterity - the new skills for learning and research excellence Program is well underway, with the second project due to start later in July. This post provides an update on the current status of the three projects as of July 2018.

Digital Dexterity Framework Project

The first project to develop a framework for digital dexterity led by Alison Slocombe has kicked off. The team have conducted a literature review, and an environmental scan (including a short survey of CAUL members), and developed a preliminary framework structure. The team is working on a framework which incorporates aspects of the Gartner and JISC approaches.

Digital Dexterity Advocacy and Engagement Project

The project team, led by Clare McKenzie will commence work this month.  They anticipate hosting two webinars – one for the staff of CAUL member institutions to reflect on and share the work so far, and one for stakeholders to introduce them to the program, and gain an understanding of how they would like to engage with the program.

Digital Dexterity Capability Building Project

This project team, led by Fiona Salisbury, will commence work after July, and build on the work of the Framework team and the Engagement team.
