Join us to learn about the University of Michigan Press's (UMP) transition to open access ebooks for the humanities and social sciences! Through its Fund to Mission program, UMP has made 50% of its frontlist ebook collection open access for 2022 and aims to make 75% of the frontlist open in 2023.

During the webinar, attendees will learn about:

  *   The current open access monograph landscape
  *   The value of open access and sustainable infrastructure for the humanities and social sciences
  *   Ways in which UMP is measuring impact and reach of open access scholarship
  *   Details about UMP's progress, funding goal, the transition timeline, and how to support the transition

UMP's Fund to Mission Open Access Monograph Program is an inclusive, values-based model that seeks to encourage and enable participation for all institutions regardless of their size so that everyone has a chance to be a part of building an open access future.
