Response to the review of the Higher Education Provider Category Standards

Topics CAUL Business

On the 8th March CAUL responded to the Australian Government Review of the Higher Education Provider Category Standards.

CAUL’s position is that the characteristics which define a ‘higher education provider’, ‘university’ or any other provider must include at a minimum that a provider is able to identify an associated academic library. The quality of an associated academic library is an essential factor in a provider’s ability to meet and exceed at its mission and thus an important point of differentiation and distinction among competing providers.
