The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) is the national policy for regulated qualifications in Australian education and training.
In the 2017-18 budget, the Australian Government announced a review of the AQF, which is expected to be completed by mid 2019. The review will ensure that the AQF continues to meet the needs of students, employers, education providers and the wider community.
The department contracted PhillipsKPA to provide contextual research for the review, related to international qualifications frameworks and domestic use of the AQF. You can findout more about the review on the Department of Education and Training's website.
