The CAUL Strategic Leadership series of events is focussed on ensuring library leaders, at all levels, have the contemporary skills they need to ensure they are leading and communicating with influence, agency and impact. Whether it be promoting library services, influencing decision makers, or advocating for change, this session will help you gain the skills and confidence you need to ensure your message gets heard.

About the session:

During this 1.5 hour session you will learn how to:

  • assess your persuasive strengths and weaknesses
  • learn and apply different persuasion approaches and best practice techniques
  • extend your persuasive reach and appeal.

*Prior to the session you will complete the Persuasion Smart Profile to help you assess your persuasive strengths and weaknesses. Please register by 15 April to allow time to complete this. Note that your email details will be provided to Michelle so that you can receive your profile.

Michelle Bowden is renowned for achieving results through learning and laughter. Michelle is a champion of libraries, and this session will be tailored to address some of the contemporary persuasive challenges we encounter in the academic library sector.
