The CAIRSS community emerged from the CAUL Australian Institutional Repository Support Service (CAIRSS), originally set up by CAUL to provide support for institutional repositories in Australian Universities, funded by members (with initial support from the Australian government) between 2009 and 2012.
The Community Days have taken place annually since 2009, with presenters covering a wide range of themes from stakeholder perspectives to advocacy, management of research outputs, data, and other technical aspects of repositories. It is an opportunity for the research repository community and those interested in research repositories to come together, share what is going on in their institutions, share practice and discuss the future of research repositories.
Information about previous events is available on the previous website.
