Scholarly Communication & Open AccessUpdated 25 April, 2006Scholarly Communication in CAUL.The CAUL Scholarly Communication Working Group has been inactive, its work being undertaken instead within the CAUL Executive Committee. The SCWG was officially wound up in 2005. The email list scwg@caul.edu.au is still live, and is open to all CAUL personnel for information and/or discussion of scholarly communication issues. Its mission is to be a catalyst for change through the creation of a more competitive marketplace for research information. SPARC will promote academic values of access to information for research and teaching and encourage innovative uses of technology to improve scholarly communication. (US)
