Montie video titles from Safetycare (23/10/08) NB: "Videotrain and Safetycare operate independently and it would be complicated to offer C.A.U.L a combined services agreement; however I am able to verify SafetyCare will match Videotrain’s Bullseye offer with the Montie service."
Additional information re
trials, access and the "licences":
Tests/Trials: Institutes
can test/trial Bullseye (and Montie) at a user and server level. We are
able to provide Bullseye/Montie to be loaded to servers and provide temporary
licences. This temporary access provides both testing and video content
assessment opportunities.
A Licence: Is the information delivered to a computer on first access to ‘unlock’ the video files on this machine. A subscription package of 5000 licences provides 5000 PC/Laptops the ability to play videos from the collection during the subscription period – PLEASE NOTE: this package has been upgraded to an UNLIMITED package for Institutes subscribing via CAUL, each institute will have either or both services available on all required PC/Laptops.
PC Licence Acquisition –
On the first occasion a PC plays a file from either the Bullseye or Montie
collection it is determined the PC does not yet have the ‘licence’ to play
the content. This sends an automatic message via the internet to the Licencing
Server (www.videotrain.com.au/www.safetycare.com.au), the Licencing Server
recognises the proxy IP address in the subscriber’s range and sends
the licence directly to the requesting PC’s harddrive, the collection is
now ‘unlocked’ and any video of the collection can be played on this licenced
PC during the subscription period. The licencing process is instant.
