Leadership team

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) leads the CAUL Office, supported by the Director, Strategy & Analytics and the Director, Content Procurement.

Operations and engagement

The Chief Executive Officer leads operations, supported by the Coordinator, Operations & Engagement and the Engagement & Administration Officer. The CEO role at CAUL encompasses the functions of chief operations and financial officers and leads engagement activities within and beyond the organisation.

Together, the CEO, the Coordinator, Operations & Engagement and the Engagement & Administration Officer:

  • deliver frontline service to CAUL’s Members and Member institution staff
  • coordinate communications across channels, including CAUL’s newsletter and social media
  • organise major events, like the Council meetings
  • provide support for CAUL’s events
  • provide administrative support to the Board
  • coordinate all the logistics and operational functions required to run the organisation.

Strategy & Analytics portfolio

The Director, Strategy & Analytics leads the Strategy & Analytics Portfolio.

Key functions of the portfolio are coordinating and developing CAUL’s strategy, including delivery of the strategic enabling programs, advocacy, and strategic engagement. The portfolio also includes:

  • CAUL’s Communities of Practice
  • the CAUL Awards
  • the Professional Learning Service
  • the Analytics Service.

The Data Solutions Specialist works closely with the Director, Strategy & Analytics and the Content Procurement Service team to deliver data and analytics products for Members and support the CAUL business.

This portfolio also includes the Open Educational Resources Collective (OER Collective), an initiative of the Open Educational Resources Program. The Senior Coordinator, OER Collective is responsible for day-to-day operations.

Content Procurement Service

The Director, Content Procurement leads the Content Procurement Service.

The Service operates the CAUL Consortium, undertakes projects, and engages with key stakeholders on topics related to content procurement that are important to Members. The Associate Director, Content Procurement and the Content Procurement Specialist support the Director in these activities.
