Clinics on ScienceDirect
NEWS: Amsterdam, May 16, 2007 – Elsevier has announced the addition of 56 prestigious titles from The Clinics to its premier electronic platform, ScienceDirect (www.sciencedirect.com). The Clinics span a variety of subjects within the health sciences, ranging from pediatrics to surgery. Among the 56 titles to be launched are: Medical Clinics of North America; Pediatric Clinics of North America; Surgical Clinics of North America; Radiologic Clinics of North America.

ScienceDirect Backfiles Offer "One" 2003

Offer closes 15 June 2003.
A minimum of 15 institutions is required for the discounts to apply. The 15 may be from Option A (complete set of 11 backfiles) or Option B (unbundled - one or more backfiles).
Current purchasers (5) will be included in the 15, and will be eligible for the discounts.
Early bird commitments received before 25 April will automatically be eligible for the discounts, even if the minimum number is not reached.
Additional backfiles will be available in the coming months, and will form part of Backfiles Offer "Two".

Migration from Academic Press IDEAL to ScienceDirect 2002 - Options for CEIRC (August, 2002)

Explanatory document includes notes regarding OPAC setup / journal linking, and options for:

1. Spend Maintenance - Migration of the AP full set to ScienceDirect.
2. Reduce Overall AP Expenditure, calculate according to selected titles, losing access to full set.

Subscribed Value = The value of the customer’s collection of Academic Press titles will be determined according to the APPEAL Base Price, as this was based on the subscription list at the onset of the IDEAL Licence.  Customers can use their original subscription list, or select titles to the ‘Subscribed Value’.  This will form the Subscription List, which will be used for the calculations, and denote the titles which carry full Archive and ILL rights.
