  • Sites testing 3.4.2. Some bugs/issues identified.

  • How long does 3.4.2 take for indexing? One site reported more than 1 day for whole IR index. One site reported 10-15 minutes for single object indexing. One site reported 13,000 objects appear to be indexing in less than 1 hour. One site reported very quickly. Varies.

  • No-one with 3.4.1 or 3.4.2 has seen the dreaded this object does not have a title indexing error thus far.

Interested in Further Discussion on

  • Metadata harvesting with NLA Australian Research Online. What work needs to be done onsite for this? Which DC element are sites using for linking the metadata URL in the hosting repository (relation or identifier)? Check with NLA the best way to go forward with this.

  • Some sites not happy with how NLA ARO content is displaying in Google. (Resolving to a search and not an object). To follow up with NLA.

  • Squire (as a replacement for Valet).

  • Research Master ingest from IR (and back the other way).

  • Future versions of Vital.
