Springer Expands Agreement with Portico

NEWS 27/6/09: Springer has expanded its agreement with the Portico digital preservation service by naming Portico as a mechanism for perpetual access (also known as post-cancellation access) for journal titles currently preserved in the archive. Wolters Kluwer sells MPS to Springer

Springer Science+Business Media (www.springer.com) has reached an agreement with Wolters Kluwer to acquire the Pharma Marketing and Publishing Services division (MPS) (includes Adis) for its Springer Healthcare unit. (Berlin / Auckland, 9 November 2011)

A new multi-product licence has been brought into use. This means that standard terms and conditions will apply across all products. All customers should sign this and then additional products will be an addenda to the main licence.  An electronic method for signatures/ approval of contracts called Docusign is being implemented.  (20/10/10)
