We are currently exploring third party perpetual access arrangements with LOCKSS and the British Library. We are also happy to supply customers on request with an archival back up on DVDs with all the PDF images and XML code.
We are happy for our material to be used in course packs (many of our customers work within the Blackboard environment) provided that these are created by the customer for their own use and not sold on to third parties. (14/7/08)
IP blocking: As noted above, we have no cost-per-user charges and downloading is permitted within the terms of fair and scholarly usage. We would only block an account after consulting the customer concerned – and only if this was causing a problem to other customers. (14/7/08)
