Copyright laws affect university libraries core business, and their mission to provide unimpeded access to information. Fair and affordable access to content depends on Australia having up-to-date copyright law.

CAUL's Copyright Advisory Committee (CCAC) works with the Australian Digital Aliance (ADA) and the Australian Libraries Copryright Committee (ALCC) to improve copyright policy and advance copyright reform in Australia.

9/8/2017: CCAC have prepared an extensive summary of the 2017 Copyright Amendment (Disability Access and Other Measures) Bill’s passage and implications, particularly for educational institutions.
