Delegates are senior library managers with aspirations for career progression to executive roles, or are early career library executives.  For further information, please see the event brochure.

Registration

Registrations are now closed.

The registration form should be completed and emailed to the CAUL Office - one form only per institution (multiple registrants can be included on the form.)

Delegates should obtain prior approval from their University Librarian/Director before registering.

The registration fee will be $900.00 (plus GST).  Confirmed delegates will be invoiced by CAUL prior to the event.

The conference dinner on the Thursday night is included in the registration.

Personal Branding

CLI Scholarships

To underscore CAUL’s commitment to invest in developing the profession and its leadership CAUL piloted this initiative in 2014. Two scholarships will again be offered to cover the cost of registration.  Each includes the institute registration fee, accommodation and meals.

Travel and other incidentals will be covered by your employer.

The applicant pool for a scholarship is extended to staff at middle management who show clear potential for advancement and will benefit significantly from exposure to the CLI faculty and delegates. Selection is competitive.

Scholarship applicants are required to address the following:
•    Statement of Purpose (one page maximum): by the applicant to describe why you are interested in the Institute and how you anticipate this experience will influence your advancement in university libraries.
•    Statement of Support (one page maximum): A Statement of Support from your University Librarian/Director that references your potential and/or readiness for senior/executive leadership; and their preparedness to cover costs that are not supported by the scholarship.

Applicants should return the nomination form to the CAUL Office by 23 May 2016.

Conference Venue:

Optional informal pre-institute drinks (pay your own way) will be held from 6pm - 7:30pm in the Upstairs Lounge at Pav Bar (updated 7/7/16), Cnr Edward & Margaret Streets (entry to Pav Bar is via Stamford Plaza).

Stamford Plaza Brisbane is at 39 Edward St, Brisbane. 

The dinner will be held at IL Centro Restaurant located at Eagle Street Pier, 1 Eagle Street, Brisbane on Thursday 21 July.  Arrival at 7pm, with a 7:30pm start. Please notify the CAUL Office directly of any dietary requirements.  The cost of the dinner is included in your conference registration. IL Centro is 3-4 minutes walk from the venue, located 240 metres from Stamford Plaza

Accommodation

The Stamford Plaza Brisbane is at 39 Edward St, Brisbane. Stamford are currently offering free Wi-Fi with all bookings made on the Stamford Plaza website.

Note: The special room rate of $215 per night for the Superior River View Room, or $235 per night including breakfast for one person is no longer available 21/5/16.

The booking of accommodation is the responsibility of delegates.
