Thursday am - local library study tours to QUT or Griffith University
Thursday pm - workshop on teaching and learning (Sue McKnight et al)

Friday - all day (no early flights) - CAUL meeting


Accommodation details

Some hotel information courtesy of  Janine, who recommends Quay West.  Because CHOGM is meeting in early October, there are lots of things on and accommodation is proving difficult. The following are possibilities:

Best location. From Quay West, one can walk to QUT, bus to Griffith, walk short distance to Rivercat to come to UQ, walk to Two, walk to Customs House .  The Marriott is another option, not far from Riverside and Customs House and Rivercat etc.  From Rydges, one can walk to city centre or rivercat to UQ or ferry to QUT.

The Royal on the Park is also an option.  It used to be the Parkroyal.
